Last Saturday my family and I dined at the Lees Summit location., The Fried C;hicken, Mac and Cheese, Candied Yams and Peach Cobbler was to die for. My husband ordered the Hiawian Ribey the most delicious ribeye I have ever tasted. The server a young man named Seth was attentive and first class. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Each time I visit The PeachTree Restaurant, I have had an enjoyable experience. There is simply no comparison of "Soul Food" restaurants like The PeachTree Restaurant. I have travled across the country and by far, I believe The PeachTree Restaurant is in the top 5. The wait staff is friendly and attentative. The Collard Green Dip and the Fried Chicken is to die for. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who may be in search of a good home cooked meal. The only disappointing thing about the PeachTree Restaurant is that they have no place for you to sleep after eating.

I was visiting Kansas City on business. My best friend and I don't get to see each other often. She recommended Peachtree and wanted to go to the new restaurant in Lee's Summit. We ordered an appetizer and our meal. The server was pleasant. We were offered our appetizer after we received our meal and we declined. The server apologized and explained that the cooking staff sometimes send out the appetizers late. I ordered the crawfish, mac and cheese, and greens. My friend ordered the fried shrimp, mac and cheese, and greens. Unlike most soul food restaurants the mac and cheese was runny and appeared to be from a box. The greens and seafood were just average. When my friend requested a side salad instead of the mac and cheese the server returned with the same bowl of mac and cheese. He stated that the manager told him that she could not have a replacement, but if she paid another $3 she could have the side salad. He told us that it was their policy of no replacements. We asked to speak to the manager. He affirmed the management of policy that there are no changes under any circumstances. We were shocked by their total disregard for our needs as their customers. It ruined the meal and the reputation of this company. Based on the lack of customers (6 tables seated), their days are numbered. If you can't believe that a company could treat their customers so poorly, request a change after you receive the dish. You will see how they treat their customers.
