Sugarplum, a charismatic and enterprising girl boss from a dull desert town, is suddenly transported on an adventure to a snowy magical city, where she must adapt, dream, and scheme to get back home in time for Christmas.

This is the WORLD PREMIERE of a new Original Nutcracker Musical, written by Kansas City’s own David Gomez & Julie Danielson, this live-on-stage production features a large cast and MTKC’s signature on-stage orchestra.
