Preview the KC Current's CPKC Stadium

A new sports venue has arrived in the Downtown Kansas City area in history-making fashion. In March 2024, the Kansas City Current—the city’s National Women’s Soccer League club—opened a state-of-the-art competition venue, establishing the world’s first stadium purpose-built for a women’s professional sports team in the process.

The Kansas City Current's CPKC Stadium draws on some of KC's best culinary expertise for its in-stadium offerings. Partnerships with local breweries, restaurants, chefs and more providers deliver stellar food and beverage experiences throughout the venue for every match.

The stadium features 11,500 seats along the banks of the Missouri River, located in the burgeoning Berkley Riverfront area. Attendees at games and events can soak in views of the river in one direction, while the city skyline shines behind the stadium to the south.

A variety of premier spaces are available within the stadium. Suites offer indoor and outdoor spaces that accommodate up to 14 guests just steps from the field, while a bar on the north side of the venue provides a spacious area for networking and celebrating, all overlooking the Missouri River.

Inside the Pitch Club, a KC-inspired lounge creates the opportunity to host guests in an exclusive and impressive setting. Stadium chefs Megan and Colby Garrelts of Rye KC curate menus for the Pitch Club, featuring local and seasonally inspired dining offerings along with a custom cocktail list.

The stadium is designed to serve as a multi-functional venue, hosting concerts, sporting events and other gatherings throughout the year. A flexible plaza outside the stadium allows for activations and community events, featuring a direct pedestrian connection to the broader Berkley Riverfront area.

Located two miles from the Power & Light District and many destinations in the heart of Downtown KC, arriving at the stadium is quick and convenient. In 2025, an extended KC Streetcar route will connect Berkley Riverfront to the KC Convention Center, nearby hotels and many popular Downtown districts.
