ARTPOP – Kansas City Art Institute

Kansas City Art Institute’s annual ARTPOP event is back on campus from 6-9 p.m. on May 8. Just before the end of the semester, KCAI transforms into an eclectic, high-energy festival with outdoor art installations, student performances, exclusive first-time viewings of original artwork and much more. This progressive party gives ultimate access to the KCAI’s 13 state-of-the-art design studios, showcasing original student art available for purchase ahead of the weekend long End of Semester Exhibition + Sale.

Tickets to ARTPOP directly benefit student scholarships, helping KCAI students make their dreams come to life. ARTPOP gives KCAI students valuable experience showcasing their unique work, opportunities to connect with arts patrons in our community, and receiving profits from their art sales. This year, patrons will be captivated by POPTRA (ARTPOP backwards), an electrifying showcase of student-designed costumes and performance art.
