Poolside Palooza

Dive into an evening packed with summer fun, including swimming, water-proof temporary tattoos, and an exciting showing of the movie "Trolls Band Together" as the sun sets in the summer sky. But that's not all – craft your own glow-in-the-dark bracelets, pick up tips from a pro hula hooper, and bask in the warm summer sun.


URBAN HIKE WITH WINE & CHEESE

Event

We'll explore the Crossroads Art District & the historic Westside neighborhood. At the beginning, we stop for a tequila spritzer & empanada at Café Corazón and at the end we enjoy delicious wine & savory cheese at the quaint Made in KC Cafe & Bar. We’ll finish by walking to catch the KC Streetcar back to our starting point. 3.5 hours 3 miles


Pup Cup Pop Up

Event

Join Liberty Parks & Rec for a barking good time at Pup Cup Pop Up! Come enjoy a beautiful spring day at the Stocksdale Dog Park (901 S. La Frenz Road). Cool off with free Kona Ice for pups (and humans!) and get a free caricature of your pet from one of the two pet caricature artists that will be on hand. And, of course there will be lots of furry friends! Camp Bow Wow, Woofie's, Natural Grocers and Pet Supplies Plus will also be there to party!


Make Music Day

Make Music Liberty is part of the global Make Music Day event celebrated each year on June 21. This is a free, live musical event that welcomes people of all ages, genres and skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned performer, a budding musician or simply a spectator, there's a place for you!

Throughout the day, the city will come alive as performers take to sidewalks, residential porches, church steps, city parks, and local businesses. So, dust off your instruments, warm up those vocal cords, and get ready to make some music! This event will run all day into the night!


End of Summer Splash Bash

It’s time to make a splash and say good-bye to summer! Join Liberty Parks & Rec at City Park for the second annual Splash Bash. Wear your swimsuits, bring your beach towels and don’t forget the sunscreen because it’s about to be a summer whirlwind at the sprayground. There will be free Kona Ice set up in the parking lot, water-proof temporary spray tattoos and a wild bubble party!


Moonlight Yoga

Feel one with the earth and your spirit by participating in Moonlight Yoga at Stocksdale Park in Liberty, MO. Taught by instructors at Serenity on the Square.


Hometown Holidays

Stop by downtown Liberty on Saturday, Dec. 6 for some holiday fun! Running from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., this event is sure to get you in the holiday spirit.
