Opening in July 2017, the 465-acre park includes a 30-acre fishing lake, as well as a mix of woodlands, forest, and open areas.
Shawnee Historic Murals
Shawnee's history through the paintings of Charles Goslin. Dedicated in 1992, the murals depict three time periods in the area's history.
Shawnee Mission Park
1,655-acre park with a 120-acre lake, 11 picnic shelters, picnic areas, nature trails, playgrounds - including the new inclusive playground, archery range, 53-acre dog off-leash area, 18-hole disc golf course, mountain bike and equestrian trails, and a marina. Fishing permits are required.
Stilwell Community Park
A 55-acre park with a one-mile looping trail which crosses over Camp Branch Creek and traverses a wetland, grassland and riparian woodland, and picnic table sites with charcoal grills.
Sunflower Nature Park
A 60-acre park featuring an accessible nature trail, picnic shelter and fishing pond. Fishing permits are required.
Thomas A. Soetaert Aquatic Center
